Mayes County is home to 40,000 people, with 113 churches spread across the county —roughly one church for every 354 people. 

Religious Engagement

On a typical Sunday morning, approximately 6,600 people attend church, representing 16.5% of the population. That means roughly 33,400 people, are not attending church on a given Sunday morning. 

Reality

33,400 people are not in church on any given Sunday. And this is not just a local issue.
Across Oklahoma, there is an estimated 57% lost rate.
